Academic Advising

The University of Virginia's College at Wise offers students the best of both worlds: a UVa education in a small-college setting. Students interact and learn in classes that rarely number more than 35. UVa-Wise professors know their students by name and take a genuine interest in their well-being.

Students have the opportunity to create an experience that fits their needs, and can vary a liberal arts program with experiences that include international travel, original research, service, and internships. Each student builds from a foundation of core general education requirements to any of 28 majors and 29 minors.
