Jonathon has worked for the past five years with Porthouse Theatre, a professional theatre based on the campus of Kent State Theatre and Blossom Music Center just outside Cleveland, OH. He began his tenure with the company as an intern while still in college and now works as the Master Carpenter, supervising scene shop workers as they build scenery for each of the three summer productions.

Research interests include early American drama and specifically the early dramatic work of Edna St. Vincent Millay and her relationship to the Provincetown Players as well as many aspects of theatrical design and production.
