Lonesome Pine Regional Library hosts True Grit Panel Discussion to celebrate The Big Read

Lonesome Pine Regional Library will present a True Grit Panel Discussion on Wednesday, April 9 at 1 p.m. as part of The Big Read celebration. 

The discussion will be held on the campus of The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, on the fifth floor of the Slemp Student Center and will detail the history, life and times of the old West through the characters presented in Charles Portis’ classic work. Panelists include faculty members Cindy Wilkey, Preston Mitchell and Elizabeth Steele.
