Murder Mystery Night on April 16 at UVa-Wise to aid relief efforts in Japan

The Pre-Professional Club at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise is hosting “A Murder Mystery at Slick’s Speakeasy on Saturday, April 16, with all proceeds donated to the American Red Cross and its relief efforts for Japan. 

The mystery begins at 7 p.m. in the Science Center Atrium. Tickets for students are $3 and $6 for others. 

Awards will be given for Best Costume, winner of the Charleston Dance competition, wealthiest contestant from the casino games and for the Super Sleuth who solves the murder. A raffle drawing will also be held. 

Sportswise, the UVa-Wise Bookstore and others are donating prizes for the event. 

Tickets are available on April 13 in the Jefferson Lounge from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Hunter J. Smith Dining Commons on April 14 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and on April 15 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
