The New Age Exhibit by Jordan Sandidge

A mixed media exhibit from Jordan Sandidge will be held in Gallery 121 of the Gilliam Center for the Arts at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise.


The exhibit, titled “The New Age, is a collection of works ranging from prints to ceramics to paintings by Jordan Sandidge, an UVa-Wise fifth year art majorThe exhibit consists of portraiture work on canvas, illustration paper, ceramic slabs, and prints.


Jordan describes his work as classical portraiture with a contemporary twist. The imagery of the work is cropped images consisting of his family and friends, the people that have influenced him and made him the person and artist he is today. The exhibit showcases Sandidge’s technical skill, versatility, and his perspective of the human face and form.
