Rose presents at Virginia Counselors Association convention
Rachel Rose, director of the Center for Student Development at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, recently presented at the Virginia Counselors Association convention in Hot Springs, Va.
Rose’s presentation was “Not Seeing the Forest for the Trees: How Diet and Underlying Medical Conditions Directly Influence Mental and Physical Health and Well-Being.”
A licensed professional counselor, Rose is certified to provide clinical supervision to counselors pursuing state licensure in Virginia. She has been providing clinical supervision for the past three years.
Tier 2 certified in glutenology with the Gluten Free Society, Rose is a consultant for gluten free lifestyle candidates. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American College Counseling Association and the Concerned About Our Community Coalition.
