The University of Virginia’s College at Wise officially begins its 2012-2013 term with Fall Convocation, set for Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. in the Fred. B. Greear Gymnasium.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which features the installation of Student Government Association president and the Honor Court chair. In addition, new faculty will be introduced during the ceremony.

University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan will address students, faculty and staff during the Convocation.

The only branch campus of the University of Virginia, UVa-Wise offers Virginia's only undergraduate degree in software engineering, among 29 other degrees and professional programs in the liberal arts tradition of Thomas Jefferson.
