Transfer
Students from Kentucky and Tennessee Community Colleges
Transfer
applicants from a Kentucky and Tennessee Community College
will have their work at the community college evaluated
on a course by course basis. Those students who have earned
an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate
of Arts and Sciences degree based on a baccalaureate-oriented
sequence of courses are given preference in the admissions
process. Admission to the College does not necessarily guarantee
admission to any of the various majors or programs within
the College (i.e. teacher education and nursing).
Students
who have earned an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science,
or Associate of Arts and Sciences degree based on a baccalaureate-oriented
sequence of courses from a Kentucky or Tennessee Community
College and are participants in the Guaranteed Admission
Program (GAP) will will be classified as juniors, have their
application fee waived and will be given preference in the
admissions process.
Transfer
students from a Kentucky and Tennesse Community College
who have completed at least 30 hours of transferrable, academic
coursework will be admitted based upon the transfer work
alone without consideration of high school work or standardized
test scores. Preference will be given to students who have
completed six hours of English composition and six hours
of mathematics.
