| I chose UVa-Wise because I wanted to play tennis and become a teacher. I was also attracted to a small school because of the student to teacher ratio. I liked the idea of coming to Wise because it was close enough but far enough from my hometown. |

| One of my favorite events is the midnight breakfast just before exam time. It is a good way to visit with professors and staff at the college..plus it is delicious! |

| I am a Math major, but one of my favorite classes was public speaking. Most majors are required to take it, so we had a wide variety of people with different majors in that class. |
