Athletic Hall of Fame

Nominations sought

Help recognize outstanding UVa-Wise athletes, coaches and loyal supporters by nominating them for inclusion in the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Nominations may be made to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee by an alumnus of the college, faculty or staff member, or Hall of Fame inductee.  The Hall of Fame Selection Committee includes faculty, staff, alumni, and friends, and past Hall of Fame inductees. 

Athletes nominated for Hall of Fame honors must have graduated from the College. To be considered, the athlete must have completed his or her athletic eligibility five or more years ago.

Hall of Fame nominations received by June 30th each year will be considered for the current year.  Nominations received after that date will be considered the following year.  Nominees will remain on the ballot for up to three years.
