Robbins Outstanding Doubleheader Earns Him AAC Player of the Week

Wise, Va. – UVa-Wise preseason NAIA All-American Brad Robbins has started to pick up where he left off his outstanding 2007 baseball season. The junior designated hitter earned the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week after producing six hits in a road twinbill at Emory & Henry.
The Big Stone Gap, Va. native almost single handedly enabled the Highland Cavaliers to sweep the Wasps. He went four for four with two home runs, a double, two runs and four rbi in an 11-10 game one victory. Robbins followed with a two for three second game with two more rbi and a run scored.
UVa-Wise Cavs are making up Saturday’s AAC doubleheader at Covenant on Monday afternoon and a Tuesday pair at Reinhardt College.
