Cavs take two of three in season-opening series

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The UVa-Wise baseball team opened its 2005 season Friday with a 9-3 win over Tennessee Temple University. The Cavaliers split Saturday’s doubleheader, winning the opener 2-1, but losing the nightcap 4-3. UVa-Wise next plays Feb. 12 at Georgetown (Ky.) College.
