February 27, 2008

Bristol , Tenn. – UVa-Wise center Adrienne Womack earned Appalachian Athletic Conference women’s basketball All-Freshman team honors. The Lady Cavaliers’ leading scorer picked up the squad’s lone playing award while Kim Norris made the Academic All-AAC list.

Womack rounded out her numbers with 68 assists, third on the team, made 46.0% of her attempts (149 of 324), blocked 19 shots and stole 19 balls.
