2008-2009 Cheerleading SquadAbout UVa-Wise Cheerleading

UVa-Wise Cheerleading is a growing program with a long standing tradition within the College and the Wise Community. UVa-Wise is a proud member of the Mid-South Conference and the Appalachian Athletic Conference

Cheerleading at UVa-Wise is a year-round sport, cheering during both football and basketball seasons. However, we also are seen at official College events, public appearances such as parades, social functions, cheer clinics, and community events.

The Cavaliers cheerleaders serve many purposes

  • To direct and lead the student body in cheers at designated athletic events.
