Three All-Americans Dot Football Gazette Selections
Wasem Picked South Region Coach of the Year

North Aurora, IL– The last 2006 football awards were given by Don Hansen's Football Gazette in its All-American and All-South Region teams. Ra'Shad Morgan, Reggie Dorsainvil and Aric Evans earned All-American honors while head coach Bruce Wasem highlights the All-South Region list as the Coach of the Year.
Running back Morgan capped off his long list of awards with an All-American first team offense. The junior was also the Offensive Back of the Year in the South Region and All-South Region first team.
Defensive end Reggie Dorsainvil made the All-American second team defensive unit. The junior was the lone all-region first team on the defense for the Highland Cavaliers.
Freshman Aric Evans grabbed All-American third team offense at a wide receiver spot. The wide out was an all-region first team offense after a stellar first season.
One of the NAIA's hardest working coaches, Wasem earned his first All-South Region Coach of the Year honor after recieving the same status for the Mid-South East Division.
Sophomore quarterback Randy Hippeard was picked to the All-American honorable mention offense and all-region first team offense. The trio of wide receiver Kendon Doe and offensive linemen Jon Mullins and Henry Potter were all All-American honorable mention and all-region second team offense.
Senior defensive end Matt Hutchings and linebacker Ben Robertson received the same honors of All-American honorable mention and all-region second team defense.
Brandon Moore made the all-region third team defense while wide receiver Matt Barbour and kicker Ray Damm were all-region honorable mention offense.
