Kuich and Kostic Win but Cavs Fall to Buffaloes

Johnson City, TN -- Henning Kuich and Chris Kostic prevailed in their singles matches but was not enough as the Highland Cavaliers fell to the Buffaloes Sunday. Milligan College took care of UVa-Wise 7-2 on the day.

Kuich took a very tight match, 9-8 (5), at the top singles for the Cavs (1-5/0-3 Appalachian Athletic Conference). Kostic had a much easier time of things at the third singles match, 8-1, but Milligan (3-4/1-1 AAC) won the other seven matches for the win.

UVa-Wise is schedule next to host Emory & Henry College at home on Monday afternoon.
