March 23, 2006
Wise, VA – Henning Kuich had a great day on the tennis courts but The University of Virginia’s College at Wise men’s tennis team as a whole did not. The Highland Cavaliers were toppled 7-2 by the King College Tornado Thursday afternoon.
Kuich, a sophomore from Gate City, Va., won the top singles match 8-1 over Lucas Oliveira after teaming up with Daniel Robinson at second doubles for an 8-1 win there as well. King (2-2/2-1 AAC) was able to take the rest of the matches for the team win. UVa-Wise goes to 1-3 and 0-1 in the league.
