Bulldogs Blank Cavs Men’s Tennis

Wise, VA -- On a wet day, the Highland Cavalier men’s tennis team could not sneak a win out of the fog. Tennessee Wesleyan blanked UVa-Wise by a 5-0 tally to take the Appalachian Athletic Conference match.

The top doubles team for the Cavs (2-9/1-6 AAC), Henning Kuich and Derick Wood, had the best match of the shortened event. The pair fell by a tight 9-7 tally to Tennessee Wesleyan (2-5/2-1 AAC).

The Cavs will play at Maryville (TN) on Sunday afternoon.
