Kuich Wins Twice but Milligan Takes Men’s Tennis Match

Johnson City, TN – Henning Kuich continued his outstanding season with two victories but was not enough on Sunday as Milligan College powered past UVA-Wise, 7-2.

The Buffs took their mark to 4-8 and 2-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference while the Highland Cavaliers are 2-8 and 1-4 in the conference.

Kuich improved to 9-1 on the season at the top singles position for the Cavs. He took care of Jon Ryan by identical 6-1 and 6-1 sets. He earlier teamed up with Derick Wood for a tight 8-6 top doubles match.

Milligan was able to capture the other seven matches for the 7-2 victory.

UVA-Wise will finish its regular season on Monday afternoon in a makeup match against Pikeville College.
