UVa-Wise Trounces Maryville Tennis

Maryville, TN – After sweeping the doubles competition, UVa-Wise captured five of six singles matches to trounce Maryville (TN) Sunday. The Lady Cavs had a six game win streak before losing and defeated the Lady Scots, 8-1, to take their fourth victory in a row of their new run.

Audra Fritz and Nicole Pilkenton had the most impressive times with 8-1 victories for UVa-Wise (10-4). Pilkenton and Laura King proved to be a good doubles team as they won 8-1 against Maryville.

The Lady Cavs will next host Milligan College on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
