UVa-Wise Volleys Past Milligan

Johnson City, TN -- The Lady Cavs volleyed past the Lady Buffs, 7-2, Sunday in women's tennis. The victory takes UVa-Wise's win streak to six matches

Laura King, Nicole Pilkenton and Rhyssa Philipp won two matches apiece to lead the Lady Cavs to the win and 6-3 mark on the year. The team also stays unblemished at 3-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

Pilkenton had the most impressive victory against Milligan (1-4/1-1 AAC) with an 8-0 score. King won 8-2 in singles play while Kyndall Wininger and Philipp took the third doubles 8-3 on the day.

UVa-Wise takes to the court again Saturday for a 12noon match at Union College
