Lady Cavs Run Tennis Win Streak to Five

Bristol, VA -- The women's tennis win streak continued for the Lady Cavs on Saturday. The University of Virginia's College at Wise posted its fourth impressive victory with an 8-1 win over Virginia Intermont.

Autumn Lauzon and Audra Fritz recorded 8-0 shutouts for UVa-Wise (5-3/2-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference) at the first and fifth singles matches. Rhyssa Philipp just missed blanking her opponent at fourth singles by an 8-1 tally against the Lady Cobras (1-4/0-2 AAC).

UVa-Wise will return to action on Sunday afternoon at Milligan College.
