Lady Cavs Breeze Past Brevard

Wise, VA -- After seeing their six-match win streak end on Saturday, the Lady Cavs breezed past the Tornados on Sunday afternoon. UVa-Wise had strong performance throughout the lineup to shutout Brevard, 9-0.

At fifth singles, Audra Fritz had the lone shutout of her opponent by 6-0, 6-0 scores. UVa-Wise improves to 7-4 and 4-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference to stay in second place. Brevard goes to 0-9-1 and 0-2 in the league.

The Lady Cavs will host Montreat College Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
