Lady Cavs Tennis Powers Past King

Wise, VA – The University of Virginia’s College at Wise posted its third-straight women’s tennis shutout and fourth victory in a row on Thursday. The Lady Cavs breezed past King College by a 9-0 tally.
UVa-Wise improves to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference after taking all nine pro sets matches played on Jim Humphries Courts. King is now 1-3 on the year and 1-2 in the conference.
Davina Dishner, Autumn Lauzon, Laura King, Nicole Pilkenton and Rhyssa Philipp all recorded two wins in the match.
UV-Wise will now travel to Virginia Intermont for a 12:00 p.m. match on Saturday and then to Milligan College on Sunday.
