Lady Cavs Take Third by Taking Lady Scots

Johnson City, Tenn. – Trailing at the time of the match suspension two weeks ago, the Lady Cavs rallied back to outlast the Lady Scots and capture third place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference women’s tennis final standings. UVa-Wise won four of the six singles bouts for the 5-4 edging of Covenant.
UVa-Wise will now move on to face Tennessee Wesleyan in the first round of the AAC playoffs starting on Friday, April 18th.
The singles success including a long three-set match win by Kelsey Adkins with a score of 6-4, 6-7, 10-8.
