Bryan Bounces UVA-Wise Spikers

Dayton, TN -- The first of three weekend volleyball matches didn't turn out to be a good Friday the 13th for the Lady Cavs. Bryan College bounced UVA-Wise on the volleyball court in three games with scores of 30-18, 30-20 and 30-19.

Tasha Viers produced nine kills, hit .304 and posted three blocks to lead the Lady Cavs (7-12/3-8 Appalachian Athletic Conference). Emily Helms added eight kills and nine digs while Kate Daub downed seven kills. Britney Lawson dug six balls and Leeza Dos Santos had 24 set assists.

UVA-Wise will continue the three-game weekend with matches at Covenant College and Tennessee Wesleyan on Saturday.
