Milligan Glides Past UVA-Wise Volleyball

Milligan College, TN -- After putting together two wins last week, the Lady Cavs found the going tough Wednesday night. Milligan College turned out to be unkind hosts and glided past UVA-Wise on the volleyball court in three games.

The Lady Buffaloes (6-9/3-6 Appalachian Athletic Conference) took the Lady Cavs (7-9/3-5 AAC) by game scores of 30-25, 30-19 and 30-25.

Kate Daub pounded seven kills and one block to pace UVA-Wise. Tasha Viers dug 10 balls while Kristen Salyer lined three aces and added six kills. Setter Leeza Dos Santos handed out 20 assists.

The Lady Cavs will look to bounce back on Friday night when they host Virginia Intermont at 6:30 p.m.
