Bryan Takes Care of UVA-Wise Spikers

Wise, VA -- Bryan College went into UVA-Wise's Greear Gym and had their way Friday night. The Lady Lions swept past the opening two games, 26-30 and 20-30, before coming back in game three, 27-30, to complete the sweep.

The Lady Cavs fall to 3-6 on the year and 0-2 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference play. Bryan improves to 7-6 and 2-1.

Tasha Viers was the lone double digit kill player for UVA-Wise with 14. Kristen Salyer and Kate Daub added eight kills apiece. Davina Dishner handed out 38 assists and Cara Hamilton dug 10 balls.

UVA-Wise will continue its three-game weekend home series when they host AAC teams Tennessee Wesleyan at 10:30 a.m. and Covenant College for a 4:30 p.m. bout.
