Jones Add Another Gem to 2007 Lady Cavs’ Spikers Recruiting Class

Wise, VA – Heather Jones adds another ‘gem’ to the 2007 Lady Cavaliers’ women’s volleyball recruiting class. Jones is the third recruit to sign with UVA-Wise head coach Steve Dallman in what is becoming a solid group.

Dallman, who lead an injured plagued 11-17 team this season, will welcome the second Rye Cove High School player. Jones joins her scholastic teammate Maggie Berry to the Lady Cavs fold next year. The duo helped to lead Rye Cove to the Group A quarterfinals.

The outside hitter earned All-Region D First Team honors. Jones received Cumberland District “Hitter of the Year” as well as to the All-Cumberland District team.
