Bryan Posts Win over UVa-Wise in AAC Losers Final

Bristol , Tenn. – Bryan ended the UVa-Wise run in the AAC tournament on Saturday morning. The Lady Lions claimed the Losers Bracket Final 3-0 with game scores of 25-30, 22-30, 34-36.

Tasha Viers led the Lady Cavs (22-13) with 16 kills, seven total blocks and two aces. Sam Puryea handed out 38 assists and Kristen Salyer downed 10 kills. Britney Lawson and Cara Hamilton posted 27 and 16 digs.

UVa-Wise will now wait and see if its gets a bid to the NAIA Region XII championships held next weekend.
