Faculty Profile: Dr. David Kendall

Professional Profile
With 31 years of experience in consulting, applied research, university teaching, and business, Dr. Kendall specializes in quantitative modeling, economic and financial analysis, statistical analysis, and survey research.  Dr. Kendall’s professional career combines 10 years of experience as a senior research economist at RTI International with 21 years of university teaching, research, and consulting.  He served as Dean of the School of Business at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and was Chief Economist and Director of Research for a consumer finance corporation.  Dr. Kendall is currently Professor of Economics and Finance and Chair of the Department of Business and Economics at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.  He is also a principal for Kendall Asset Management, a registered investment advisor in the State of Virginia.
