Unrestricted funds are used at the College’s discretion to support initiatives for which other funding may not be available, such as recruiting outstanding faculty, recognizing exceptional teaching and academic performance, conducting specific learning events pertinent to our times, supporting student leadership development, and developing activities that can promote and share discoveries and knowledge with the public. Unrestricted funds provide a pool of available resources that can be used to support great ideas and new initiatives that otherwise would be lost.
