sale at UVa-Wise Oct. 5-6
Looking for a great book and a great price? Then plan to
attend the Phi
Alpha Theta book sale at The University of Virginiaπs
College at Wise
Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The sale will be held on the second floor of Zehmer Hall
from 9 am. until 3 p.m.
each day.
Patrons will find
fiction and non-fiction books of all types. Proceeds from
the sale will be used to help history students attend fall
conferences.
Phi Alpha Theta is a national history honor society whose
mission is to
promote the study of history through the encouragement of
research, good
teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas
among
historians.
Phi Alpha Theta
seeks to bring students, teachers and writers of
history together for intellectual and social exchanges,
which promote and
assist historical research and publication by its members.
The UVa-Wise
chapter was established in 2002.
