‘Charlie Brown’s Christmas’ set for Dec. 7 at UVa-Wise

Area children are invited to The University of Virginia’s College at Wise to celebrate the holiday season with “Charlie Brown’s Christmas” on Friday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6 p.m.

Children ages 1 to 12 are invited to attend the free event in the Baptist Student Center. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition to UVa-Wise education students’ presentation of the play “Charlie Brown’s Christmas,” there will be Christmas games and crafts including Christmas limbo, a cake walk, Christmas tattoos, crafting Christmas ornaments and Christmas tic-tac-toe.

Children will be able to make their own “reindeer sandwiches” and will be treated to wreath cookies and snowball candy.

The UVa-Wise presentation of “Charlie Brown’s Christmas” is sponsored by the Student Virginia Education Association.
