UVa-Wise Concert Band invites community participation

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Concert Band will begin rehearsals for the fall semester at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.

The UVa-Wise Concert Band is made up of UVa-Wise students and community members. Membership is open to anyone who plays a traditional band instrument.

The ensemble plays a varied repertoire ranging from traditional marches to contemporary works and arrangements.
