Tenth-annual UVa-Wise Community Spring Swing set for April 22


The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Alumni Association and Department of Athletics will host the 10th Annual Norton Community Hospital-–UVa-Wise Community Spring Swing tournament on Friday, April 22, at Lonesome Pine Country Club in Big Stone Gap.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. The all-inclusive tournament fee of $100 includes a red t-shirt and mulligan package, prize drawing and a chance to win $250 closest-to-the-pin prize on Hole #10. Businesses and individuals wishing to support the project may sponsor a hole for $100 each. The sponsor’s name will be prominently displayed on the sponsored hole.

Thanks to generous sponsorship from Norton Community Hospital, all proceeds will benefit the alumni and athletic programs at UVa-Wise.
