Graduation Celebration

March 20 - Graduation Celebration, Abingdon, 4-6 p.m.

March 21 - Graduation Celebration, Wise, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Chapel

At this event, students can:

• Order announcements and class rings
• Confirm eligibility for graduation
• Receive cap and gown
• Participate in the senior class gift
• Vote for student speakers to present at Awards Ceremony and Commencement
• Determine whether one will graduate with academic distinction
• Verify spelling of name for diploma

Refreshments will be served. Door prizes will include a UVa-Wise diploma frame and cash prizes.

Senior Send-off Tailgate Party

* Hosted by the Alumni Association, the Office of Development and Student Affairs for graduating seniors only

May 17, 11 a.m., Upper Parking Lot, Carl Smith Stadium

The Send-off will feature music performed by Friend of a Friend, and food and drinks will be available.

Seniors must be present to win cool prizes, including a cruise (destination to be determined). Graduation rehearsal will follow the tailgate party.

Graduation Rehearsal

A full rehearsal will be held at the stadium at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 17. It is not necessary to bring your cap and gown. The rehearsal may take up to two hours, so please plan accordingly.
