Time and place of formation

Graduates, Bag Piper, Gonfalon and Flag Bearers, Poor Farm Mace Bearer, Grand Marshal

10:00 a.m. Carl Smith Stadium

10:15 a.m. - Line up at the stadium according to the seating instructions

Position of Tassel on Caps: Seniors wear on right side. Move to left
at end of Chancellor’s pronouncement conferring your degree.

11:00 a.m. - Processional begins

Faculty

10:15 a.m. - Carl Smith Stadium, Locker Room

                  Instructions provided by Faculty Marshals

11:00 a.m. - Robed and ready to march behind students

College Board, Platform Party, Cabinet

10:15 a.m. - Carl Smith Stadium

11:00 a.m. - Robed and ready to march behind faculty

Order of March

          1. Flag Bearers
          2. Grand Marshal
          3. Bag Piper
          4. Gonfalon
          5. Faculty Marshals
          6. Mace Carrier
          7. Seniors
          8. Faculty Marshals

          9. Faculty
         10. Cabinet
         11. UVa-Wise Board
         12. Platform Party

         Seniors: Will march according to their place on the list which the Faculty Marshals will have.          You will be seated in a reserved section in the front of the platform.

         Faculty: Seated in a reserved section on the field.

         College Board/Cabinet: Seated in reserved section. Follow instructions of Marshal.

         Platform Party: Seated on the stage.
