CEREMONY LOCATION CHANGE
Commencement will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the David J. Prior Convocation Center. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
Each graduate received 6 tickets for family and guest seating at the Prior Center. Ushers will be taking tickets at the top of each set of stairs. Ticket holders will be seated first. Seats will be available for ticket holders until 10:30 a.m. and then released for other guests on a first come basis. Guests may also observe the ceremony from the concourse level.
Faculty and staff will be admitted to the seating area by showing their campus ID card.
ADA seating for guests with mobility issues will be in designated areas around the top of the concourse.
All participants in the processional need to report to the lower level of the Convocation Center for robing:
Graduates ----- Lakeview Room (Behind Stage) --- Report by 10:00 a.m.
Platform Party ----- Room 113 --- Report by 10:30 a.m.
Board ----- Room 117 --- Report by 10:30 a.m.
Cabinet ----- Room 119 --- Report by 10:30 a.m.
Faculty ----- Room 127 --- Report by 10:15 a.m.
Shuttle buses will run from all parking areas on campus to the Prior Center from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Graduates should park in the parking lot above Greear Gymnasium and ride the shuttles.
Faculty are encouraged to park in the Zehmer and faculty lot and ride the shuttles.
All parking will be directed by Campus Police.
