Dining Points

Dining points are accepted like cash in all our dining locations. The points are a 'declining balance account' on your CAVS Card ID that works on the same principle as a debit card.  You can use your points to purchase beverages, snacks, or even a full meal in the dining hall and Papa Joe's without the worry of carrying cash.

Each time you make a purchase, the amount is subtracted from your dining points balance. Dining points give you a savings of a 5% discount and 5% sales tax exemption for all food purchases.   Dining points do carry over from semester to semester, but not from year to year.

Additional dining points may be added to your card at any time in the Cashier's Office (276-328-0108) located on the lower-level of Smiddy Hall.
