Capital Operations & Planning

Capital Operations and Planning is comprised of four departments: Maintenance, Housekeeping, Landscaping, and Construction Management. The mission of the department is to:

  • Plan and provide a campus appropriate to the mission of The College, encompassing a safe, clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for its students, staff, faculty, and visitors, in a manner conductive to learning;
  • Work in partnership with, and serve as a liaison between the campus community, The University in Charlottesville, and organizations that provide design, consulting, construction, and regulatory functions for campus operations and capital construction
