Residents who train with Dr. Cheng can learn how to practice medicine outside the tertiary setting, taking care of patients in a rural clinic and in a small, but well-equipped hospital. Along with the acquisition of clinical information, residents in Lebanon can learn what is involved in managing a practice - coding, scheduling, record-keeping etc. Those who have a special interest in pulmonary medicine should find time spent with Dr. Cheng particularly rewarding.

Residents on block rotations may stay in a furnished apartment rented by GMEC for the use of residents who train in Lebanon.
