The Office of International Programs
at UVa-Wise serves as the focal point for the development, supervision, and coordination of all international programs, activities, and services. Our goal is to promote better understanding of international issues by disseminating information on international opportunities, promoting courses abroad, providing support to international students on campus and developing an international outlook among students and staff. This mission is akin to Thomas Jefferson's idea to promote a global and liberal education that grants our students the opportunity to become "the ultimate guardians of their own liberty."
