Multi-Cultural Affairs

The Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs was established to assist students with their adjustments to college life and with their educational and social growth and development.  The Office seeks to provide opportunities that will increase the awareness of diverse cultural histories on campus and in the community.

For more information about Multi-Cultural Affairs or the MCA organization, contact Sandra Jones at (276) 328-0319.

Activities

Multi- Cultural Affairs sponsors and participates in a variety of campus and community activities, including the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. march. The annual MCA fashion show (above) is a campus favorite. Black History Month events highlight MCA's calendar each February.

Multi-Cultural Alliance

The Multi-Cultural Alliance (MCA) is an organization that offers students, faculty and staff educational opportunties concerning multi-cultural issues.  MCA brings together people from diverse backgrounds and cultures interacting toward a common goal -- unity.
