Area businesses invited to participate in upcoming UVa-Wise STEM career fair

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Office of Professional and Career Development will host a STEM career and networking fair on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Businesses and organizations interested in recruiting UVa-Wise students with STEM majors are invited to attend. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEM majors offered at UVa-Wise include biochemistry, biology, chemistry, environmental science, medical technology/clinical laboratory science, computer science, management information systems, mathematics and software engineering.
