NOTE: For "username" please use your UVa-Wise ID. For example: mst2k
Accounts that do not use this format are subject to deletion.
Why aren't my courses listed?
You will need to “enroll” in the courses for them to show up under your courses. This is separate from the actual registration process for classes. You are not automatically placed in the courses in Blackboard. Click the “Courses” tab and select the department category where their course is located. Make sure to click the “Enroll” button. An access code may be required and the user will need to see their instructor for the code. A guide on how to setup Blackboard and enroll in courses is available at: http://www.uvawise.edu/oit/accounts_services/documents/UsingBlackboard.pdf

Oftentimes, Zero (0) and the Letter (O) are confused as well as the Number One (1) and the Lowercase (l).

You need to be sure and delete the files from the “Deleted Messages” folder as well. Items in “Deleted Messages” are counted against the quota and should be removed.
Why can't I type in the message of an e-mail?
If you can't type in the e-mail and a red X is displayed, go directly to the login site at https://mailgw.uvwise.edu/exchange. When you log in, choose the Basic e-mail client.
