Events & Activities

The Office of Student Activities, along with the Student Activities Board, provides a variety of opportunities for students to be entertained on campus and get involved. A variety of events and activities are hosted throughout the semester to engage students outside the classroom. All events hosted by the Office of Student Activities and Student Activities Board are free unless otherwise noted. Student input is valued as part of the entertainment program and students are encouraged to join the Student Activities Board where they can choose, plan and host events and programs.

Activities and events range throughout the school year and have included comedians, musicians, hypnotists, illusionists, magicians, game shows and slam poets. A film series is hosted each month offering students the opportunity to view a new hit movie that has not been released on home video yet. In addition, the Student Activities Board hosts a "Hump Days @ Wise" series offering students the opportunity to participate in novelty programs, including Make Your Own Street Sign, Sandy Candy, Massages & Relaxation Chairs, Snake's Alive reptile program, free t-shirts, and more. Several homegrown events are sponsored by the Student Activities Board and include the Price is Right Gameshow, Stock Your Room & Grocery Bingo, and an annual Talent Show where the winner receives free textbooks for the following semester. Finally, the Office of Student Activities and the Student Activities Board encourage faculty/staff engagement with students through the hosting of an annual lecture series.

SAB MEETINGS ARE HELD EVERY MONDAY @ 5pm in the Slemp Student Center!
