About the event
All majors are welcome to network with employers in a wide range of careers and industries for potential employment an/or internship opportunities! Be prepared to provide your employers of interest an up-to-date resume. **Professional dress is required for this event.**
Senior Salute - a one-stop shop for seniors - will be held in conjuction with Career Fair 2013. Senior Salute provides seniors opportunities for confirming eligibility for graduation and honors, ordering announcements, class rings, receiving your cap & gown, senior class gift challenge, alumni registration, and door prizes! Senior Salute will be held from noon-5 pm in Greear Gym.
Preparing for the event
It's not too late for students to get ready for Career Fair 2013! We encourage you to come by Career Services in the Center for Student Development ASAP if you need help updating your resume, selecting an appropriate outfit, or learning more about what you need to know to prepare.
Representatives and organizations will include: part/full-time employers, graduate/professional schools, military, internships/externships, and service/volunteer. Check back here often for an updated list of representatives registered to attend. Current representatives include:
Professional attire is required for participation in Career Fair 2013 -- any students not appropriately dressed will be denied entrance to the event.
Professional attire includes suit (preferred), dress pants and shirt/blouse, and dress shoes/pumps; ensure that all items are properly pressed/ironed. Jeans/shorts, t-shirts, caps/hats, and flip-flops/sandals are not appropriate.
Drop by Career Services today to pick up a professional dress tips sheet to help you select the appropriate attire to help you "dress for success!"
In person registration will be available:
* Monday, February 25 - SSC Atrium - 10 am-2 pm
* Tuesday, February 26 - Science Center Atrium - 10 am-2 pm
* Friday, March 1 - Center for Student Development - 9 am-4 pm
Online registration was available from Saturday, March 2 through noon on Tuesday, March 19.

About the event
UVa-Wise students and alumni from all majors will be available to speak with you about possible careers and internship opportunities within your organization. Even if you don't have a current opening, this is a wonderful opportunity to educate candidates about your organization and to build a pool of potential employees for future vacancies.
Employers may set up anytime from 9-11 am and lunch will be provided for all employers at 11 am. Students will participate in the Career Fair from noon-3 pm. We ask that you plan to stay for the Fair's three hours to ensure that students and/or alumni with midday classes/appointments are still able to visit with you.
Online employer registration will be available through Friday, March 8. Note: March 8 is also the payment deadline. The online registration has closed.
The registration fee is $100 for up to two representatives, including lunch; additional representatives may be added for a $15 per person fee. **The Early Bird Special Rate of $75 for up to two participants is available if you register by February 15.**
After completion of the registration form, be sure to process payment of your registration fee either via telephone to our Cashier's Office at 276-328-0107 or via check (made payable to UVa-Wise) in the mail to: Neva Bryan, UVa-Wise Career Services, 1 College Avenue, Wise VA 24293.
