The Student Handbook is your guide to life at UVa-Wise. In it you'll find the College's mission, goals and policies, as well as information about student clubs and organizations, student governance, and more in the following sections:

  • Introductions - welcome, institutional mission, goals & vision
  • Academics - academic support services, college catalog, and release of student information (FERPA)
  • Student Life - DEAN OF STUDENTS AREA (C. Bascom Slemp Student Center, Center for Student Development, Collegiate Ministries, Greek Life, Leadership, and Student Activities, Intramurals & Outdoor Recreation) and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (Athletics, Bookstore, Campus Police, Cavs Card, clubs & organizations, cultural activities, Dining Services, Housing & Residence Life, Information Technology, my.uvawise portal, Post Office, social events & meetings, student publications, and town & gown collaboration
