Storylines – Urbana University gameUrbana is coming off of an 87-77 loss to Wheeling Jesuit University entering Saturday's game against UVa-Wise. In that game, the Blue Knights had five players finish in double figures. Urbana was led by Matt Csuhran who had a team-high 19 points and six rebounds. Myles Busby assisted Csuhran finishing with14 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Ognjen Rebic added 14 points and four rebounds. On the season, Csuhran is scoring 10.9 points per game and corralling 3.7 rebounds a night. The Blue Knights are scoring 84.7 points per game and grabbing 38.2 rebounds per game.

The one calling card for coach Haley Ducey's squad has been the team's ability to make free throws. Entering Saturday, Urbana ranks second in the MEC in free throw percentage at 76.9. Individually, three Blue Knights are averaging double figures on the season, led by Kate Francisco's 13.1 points per game.
WISE - - Glenville State closed out the first half on a 7-1 run and limited UVa-Wise to just 29 percent shooting in claiming a 63-54 Mountain East Conference victory at the Prior Center Thursday night.

In that game, the Pioneers were led by Reggie Williams who had a game-high 24 points and three rebounds. Donte Morales assisted Williams finishing with 22 points, while Sedric Nady added 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals. On the season, Morales is scoring 18.8 points per game and corralling 5.1 rebounds a night. The Pioneers are scoring 80.4 points per game and grabbing 32.4 rebounds per game.
Defending Mountain East Conference Champion Glenville State enters the contest just 6-6 in league play but, the Pioneers are still scoring the basketball at an extrodinary clip. Coach Charles Marshall's team is averaging league-high 83.1 points per game. Glenville State enters the game playing its best ball of the season having won back-to-back road MEC road contests and four of its last five games. Most recently, the Pioneers received a 21-point outburst from Katrina Salins in a 92-67 victory over Concord. On the season, Keyanna Tate has led the offensive attack, her 17.7 points per game average ranks second in the league. Earlier this season, Tate scored 30 points and grabbed eight rebounds in aiding her club to a 94-81 win over UVa-Wise.

STORYLINES – WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN GAMEWest Virginia Wesleyan has just one win in its first 14 games thus far. The Bobcats lone win came on January 17 against Urbana. Most recently, coach Michael Bari's squad fell 83-77 to defending Mountain East Conference Champion Glenville State. Wesleyan ranks near the bottom of the league in most statistical categories. One bright spot for the Bobcats has been Adrian Cunningham who is scoring 14.6 points per game. Cunningham's point total ranks ninth in the MEC while teammate Mari Stewart is grabbing 8.1 rebounds a night to rank sixth in the conference.

WISE - - Senior first baseman Bill Steven has been named a Preseason Second-Team All-Atlantic Region honoree by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. The award comes following a junior campaign that saw Steven hit .344 with a team-high 28 RBI.
ATHENS, W.Va. - - Concord University built a 47-20 halftime lead and limited UVa-Wise to 7-30 shooting from the 3-point line en route to a 92-55 Mountain East Conference win Thursday night.

Storylines – Concord GameConcord enters Thursday's game losers of eight of its last nine contests. Like UVa-Wise, the Mountain Lions are in need of a league win. Concord has won just one Mountain East Conference game since defeating West Virginia Wesleyan on December 7. Coach Kenny Osborne's team has had difficulty scoring from the peremiter. Through 15 games, the Mountain Lions have made 223 3-pointers while making the three at a 25.3 percent clip. Concord is led by Jacqueline Kestner who is scoring 13.1 points and grabbing 9.4 rebounds per game. Kestner is one of two players who is averaging near a double-double, teammate Kylie Molisee is scoring 10.5 points and collecting 9.8 boards a night.

Concord's Aaron Miller isscoring a team-high 19.6 points a night which ranks fourth among all Mountain East Conference players. The Mountain Lions have used their ability toput the ball in the basket to post a 10-5 record thus far. As a team, Concord makes 50.3 percent of its shot attempts which ranks second in the league.

WISE - - Friday, UVa-Wise lost a very special human being. Brock Funk, who aided the Cavalier baseball team to consecutive regional tournament appearances and ranks second in school history in pitching wins passed away.
WISE - - Saturday's game at the Prior Center between UVa-Wise and visiting Charleston featured 56 fouls, 78 foul shots,four players fouling out, and one team finishing the game with just five players. Charleston eventually outlasted UVa-Wise, 80-75 in overtime.
